Job Title: (Data Entry Specialist)

​

Responsibilities

The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for entering Electronic Visit Verification and Payroll information and processing and maximizing third party reimbursement and third-party billing. This also includes accurate processing of third-party payments and third-party approval of payments, and denial/appeals processing. This position will serve as the subject matter expert for reimbursement and claims data entry related to the HCS and Texas Home Living Waiver Program.​

Essential Functions

  • Verifies and updates client information in the EVV and TMHP System

  • Submission of Claims in the TMHP System

  • Verifies time in the Electronic Visit Verification System (EVV)

  • Monitors the verification process in the EVV System

  • Monitors the CSI in the TMHP System for Accuracy and Completeness

  • Assist in the Accurate Maintenance of Client and Employee Personnel Files

  • Provides internal training regarding the billing process

  • Works to resolve problems regarding billing and chart compliance

  • Administrative and Other Related Duties as assigned:

  • Actively participates in Performance Improvement activities

  • Completes assigned tasks in a timely manner

  • Works in a cooperative manner with other LES employees

  • Follows LES policies and procedures

  • Receives and responds to inquiries of accounting matters promptly and courteously

  • Assists with performance of duties of other accounting staff in periods of absence

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications​

  • High School Diploma or equivalent;

  • Valid Driver's License

  • At least 18 years of age or older

  • Post hire, must complete LES and HHSC training requirements State of Texas

  • Experience with billing, (Medicaid Billing Experience) a plus

  • Working knowledge of consumer accounts billing processes

  • Strong computer skills required.

  • Data Entry and claims payment experience preferred
